A delegation from the Nicaragua travel industry has just returned from the biggest global travel show, ‘The World Travel Market’ in London, England. This annual event is a four day business-to-business presentation that brings together a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to meet with UK and International travel professionals. It includes tour operators, hotels, airlines, travel technology and online services all under one roof.

Careli Tours, Solentiname Tours, ICN Tours, Va Pues Tours, Hotel Seminole y Small Boutique Hotels of Nicaragua were part of the delegation that attended the show and reported excellent results in promoting Nicaragua as a destination for European tourists. The delegation held 147 different business meetings with potential tourism businesses from around the world.

The show covers over 42,000 square meters of space at the ExCel Exhibition Centre. An estimated 45,000 participants, over 5,000 exhibiting companies and nearly 25,000 visitors shared information and took part in this travel business exchange. Nicaragua had a booth which promoted the national culture, its beaches, as well as rural and urban tourism.

Juan Manuel Sánchez, Operations Manager of the Association of Producers and Exporters of Nicaragua (APEN), described the show as “An excellent opportunity Nicaragua as they could present Nicaraguan tourism companies directly to their customers from around the world”.     He also commented that this year, for the second trip to the show, “Nicaragua had seven businesses attending, five more than last year, an increase that is recognized by the international buyers”.

Una delegación de la industria de los viajes Nicaragua acaba de regresar de la feria de viajes más grande del mundo, la World Travel Market en Londres, Inglaterra. Este evento anual es de cuatro días hábiles para la presentación de negocios, reúne a una amplia gama de destinos y sectores de la industria para ofertar al Reino Unido y los profesionales internacionales del sector, incluyendo los operadores turísticos, hoteles, líneas aéreas, la tecnología de viajes y los servicios en línea, todo bajo un mismo techo.

Careli Tours, Solentiname Tours, Tours CIE, Va Pués Tours, Hotel Seminole y Pequeños Hoteles Boutique de Nicaragua fueron parte de la delegación que asistió a la presentación e informó de excelentes resultados en la promoción de Nicaragua como un destino para los turistas europeos. La delegación mantuvo 147 reuniones de negocios con diferentes empresas del potencial turístico de todo el mundo.

La presentación abarca más de 42.000 metros cuadrados de espacio en el ExCel Exhibition Centre. Se estima que 45.000 participantes, más de 5.000 empresas expositoras y cerca de 25.000 visitantes compartieron información y participaron en este intercambio . Nicaragua tuvo un stand que promovió la cultura nacional, sus playas, así como el turismo rural y urbano.
